I'm Kathleen Cochran, diagnosed in 1997 with Parkinson's at the age of 48. The title of this blog has several meanings. It refers to my ongoing attempt to make sense out of Parkinson's. It reflects my conviction that to live as well as possible with this disease, we need to engage and energize all our senses. And it alludes to my being incensed about roadblocks to developing treatments that are not just symptomatic, but restorative.
